NEW YORK - Since kicking off their 35th Anniversary tour in January, the Reggae Ambassadors show no signs of slowing down. With performances that have included Jamaica Jazz and Blues, St. Kitts Music Festival, Reggaeland Festival, NOWA Reggae Festival, Dour Festival, Might Sounds Festival, Hanu Reggae Festival and Monterey Bay Reggae Festival, to name a few, Third World continues to take their music globally.

Last weekend, the group performed at various venues on the West Coast and in Canada. This weekend, the band will perform at the 19th Annual Midwest Reggae Festival in Cleveland Ohio on Friday, August 13, 2010. They will share the stage with acts such as Michael Rose, Luciano, The Skatalites, Fyah Wyah and more. One Saturday, August 14, 2010, Third World will perform at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA. Victor Lewis, manager for Third World Band, addresses rumors regarding the show at Keswick Theatre not going forward "The show at Keswick Theatre is definitely still on - it has not been canceled. The promoter of the show, Madmags Productions, is doing something unique and asked for our involvement. Madmags Productions has developed an organization called Operation Star. The project exposes children to the arts through music, dance and theatre. The band was happy to assist and is looking forward to the show."

After the band's east coast performance, the band travels south where they will perform at Seacrets in Ocean City, MD on August 16th, Kanawha Plaza in Richmond, VI on August 20th, and across the waters to the St. Barts Music Festival in Gustavia, St. Barts on August 21st. They return to the States for the 28th Annual African World Music Festival where they will perform alongside K'Jon, Bettye Lavette and Kindred the Family Soul on August 22nd.
