Sizzla Kalonji, real name Miguel Collins, was detained on Wednesday (27 January 2010) by Jamaica's St Andrew parish Central police following reports that gunshots were fired at a group of people at a river in August Town.

According to RJR News, a senior officer at the Half-Way-Tree Police Station said that "the artiste's hands have been swabbed and samples sent to the government laboratory to determine whether he had fired a weapon."

However, Sizzla has since been released, and according to his manager, he's not facing any charges.
