Chuck Fenda goes on tour
Reggae artiste Chuck Fenda left the island yesterday for the Rotterdam Festival tour in Europe.
Fenda will perform in several European countries such as Spain, Germany, France and Italy.
He is among the headline acts for the tour which will feature other Jamaican artistes such as Busy Signal, Queen Ifrica, Etana and Wayne Wonder.
According to Fenda, he is anticipating the tour because it will give him a chance to perform for his many fans in Europe who haven't seen him in a while.
"When Chuck Fenda go to Europe, the whole country march to come see me because they don't get to see me that often. It's always a great feeling and experience whenever I go to that part of the world," he said.
From his huge collection of hits including Gash Dem And Light Dem, Coming Over Tonight and I Swear, he says his biggest song at the moment is the single Real Man, produced by Donovan Germain of Penthouse Productions. He says the song is currently doing well in Europe and he knows that his fans are just waiting to hear him deliver that song.
His last tour was also in Europe over a year ago where he says the response was great, especially in Spain.
Chuck Fenda was involved in a car accident while on his way to an Irie FM roadshow earlier this year, and although it had put no major setback on his career, he says continuing to work hard is his main focus at the moment.
Got To Love You for Sankofa Productions and Cry Cry Baby for Boardhouse Productions are among his latest songs being played on local and international airwaves. After his European tour, Fenda's next stop will be in California for a few shows in early October.
